Not advisable if using regularly At first it wasn't a bad USB had a few problems removing it from the port however within a few weeks I lost it as it is so small and easy to forget at times meaning I lost all of the important data that it held. So I wouldn't recommend it to anyone using it to save important files.

Good value reliable and genuine I had a recent incident with another online ordering store that shall remain nameless and was recently purchased by a Chinese group where the memory stick I bought had a fake capacity and constantly corrupted everything except that last bit of data added. This terrible experience left me looking for another supplier with similar value for money pricing which Amazon matched perfectly. I went with a SanDisk branded stick having learnt my lesson with marginally cheaper ownbrands from elsewhere and the drive was flawless. It performs perfectly mounts quickly and is stable. The capacity was genuine and the quality of the overall piece is high. There's no cap or lanyard provided but I'm fine with this less pieces to lose.

Topclass BluRay player I bought this player on sale and did not expect much but I am extremely pleased with its performance now.It looks much better than on photo with glass from and brushed metal top great design job from Philips!It's my first BD player so as you can imaging the difference between this and DVD is huge. Even when it plays old DVDs it upscales them to Full HD format so they look much better. And when it comes to BluRay it's simply amazing. I could not wait to get some BDs to try it and it was well worth it. 300 were nearly better than cinema version and Sucker Punch too. Great colours HD sound everything was delivered in style.I am yet to try other features like network play or iPlayer as there are tons of them but I am very happy with it's main function and everything else will be a bonus when if I need it.Would highly recommend this player to anyone.
Blu Ray player This smart Blu Ray player arrived swiftly and well packaged.It has all the gadgetry to impress our son.Neat blue light.Not tried all the features yet but he likes it.
Nice Build Quality Aesthetically pleasing lovely Blu Ray picture and Great CD Audio For a few quid extra this machine seems to have all the bells and whistles. Is Wi Fi ready for the ability I believe to watch TV/Films on BBCiplayer or whatever and loads of other applications incl. BD Live have yet to try this and have ordered the Wi Fi Dongle. Amazing value I don't need to write CD/DVDs because I already have another machine that can write them but I did need a DVD ROM for my netbook. This is perfect. Very slim with cord holder inset USB powered and works straight out of the box. Recommended.
Great DVD Player. It's a fantastic little DVD/CD player. I bought it for my Sony Netbook running windows 7 starter and it worked perfectly. To have it work on Windows 7 Starter you need to download some thirdparty software but it works great and will play any DVD or CD exactly what you need. Only complaint is a small one that if it is moved while playing the microUSB plugging into the DVD/CD player might come out and the DVD/CD will stop playing.
Just what I needed This good looking drive has all the features I needed can burn CDs watch DVDs and even has a stop function which is helpful. Everything works well and was easily put together literally just out of the box.If you are looking for something simple and not too fussy this does the job.
Nice little drive for the price not really Macfriendly I bought this because I was looking for a cheap additional drive to use with my Mac for watching films etc on DVD. For the money it's an excellent little drive definitely cheap and a bit plasticky but it works and without promising to it sort of works on a Mac. However with Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Apple DVD Player 5.4 it can't really be described as Macfriendly the DVD Player app crashes when this drive is used and the disks do not eject properly but they can be easily and safely removed once you've got the knack. On the other hand DVDs load fine and play perfectly with the free VNC app after you've disabled the automatic startup of DVD Player when a DVD is inserted and I'm very happy to have a second drive I can use to watch films on my Mac at this excellent price.
A good purchase Very light and works fine. Can be a bit loud at times and the usb supplied is quite small but all in all it's a good purchase.

No problems so far! Does what it says haven't had a single problem connecting and playing DVDs which is more than most DVD players can guarantee!.

Works a dream I bought this multiregion dvd for my son as alot of what he watches you can only buy on region 1 at the moment. Anyway i have to say this is the easiest dvd player i have ever come across. No need to switch anything from region 1 to region 2 the machine automatically does it all for you. You really do just turn it on insert the dvd from regiopn 1 or 2and it plays like a dream.
Great DVD player At the price I was a little hesitant that it would deliver on all of the promises but it has. I have played multiple regional formatted DVD and they all work without any issues. The remote needs a clear path to the player but it rarely is ever an issue.

Ordered this item after our LG upscaling dvd player decided to stop working. cost about the same as this and was excellentI bought this as it had on paper comparable features as our previous player and the price seemed good.The description says 1080p and upscaling but I could see no evidence of this. It plays dvd's to an average quality and as for watching anything via the USB don't bother. The video off a stick is all pixelated and very low quality. Infact its so bad that I've thrown it in the bin and connected my laptop to the TV instead.I can't recommend this at all it's just cheap rubbish. If you want any image quality spend a bit more and get a better brand.
Plays every DVD Not much more to say about this but that it does what it is supposed to. With no frills or bells or whisles. For the price it is a good DVD player that plays all regions of DVD.
Cheap and nasty Technically it seemed to tick all the right boxes. But on first appearances I could tell it was a very cheaply made product. Upon switching on there was a bang and flash. One fried dvd! Returning was also not straight forward. Even though the website clearly states that it is a free returns policy I needed to keep on at them to return postage.
I wish I'd bought a brand I knew Had this a few months and now it has stopped playing region 1 DVDs. It will play region 2s but I bought it to play my american discs. It was never very good from the start to be honest but as time went on and not hevely used too it became less and less able to play my region 1 discs. A friend thinks it could be a soft wear problems as well as being poor quality. Do not buy this as it is a waste of time and money.
GUYVERTASTIC!!! I've been a huge Guyverfan since the 12part Manga and the OVAGuyver The Bioboosted Armor is a must for any Anime fan. The series is a combination of scifi/fantasy/action with a huge amount of limbs and guts flying around.A faithful readaptation of the original Manga with a great indepth storyJust kinda sad ADV didn't progress with a 2nd season.
Well This machine was great. I was really happy about being able to watch my region 1 DVDs and region 2 DVDs. However about two months after purchasing it I was watching a region 2 DVD and the machine blew up. Not suggested if you like your possessions to actually work.
Very neat hdmi dvd player Nice easy to use dvd player with hdmi output. It also features usb and sd card input and plays every file type I've thrown at it. Very good picture and upscaled dvds are pleasing to the eye.

Panasonic Recorder I do not give this recorder a very good rating because primarily it failed to record the titles from the hard disk onto dvds. While this was obviously a faulty machine Panasonic does not rank very highly in my estimation to pass such a machine for sale. I returned the machine paying £17 postage since it was not bought directly from Amazon. I also found that some of the features were not satisfactory. First DVD +RW disks had to be reformatted while not a great inconvenience for blank disks it meant that it would not play prerecorded DVD +RW disks. Second it displayed the programs on the TV guide on only half the screen the other half being given to help. Third one could not watch one program while recording another. Finally I found 100 pages of a detailed manual rather daunting.
DVD Recorder My new Panasonic Dvd recorder with 250GB memory is easy to set up and can be used to record the whole series of a program. this saves me time and having to remember to program my favourates.
Much overated I have two HDD machines an older much cheaper Sony RDR HXD870 and this Panasonic. The Sony beats this thing hands down. It is really slow to boot up the Resume function only remembers where you were until you turn it off whereas the Sony will pick up where you left off the next day. If you switch channels on the older machine it always brings up a screen display showing which channel you are on. This Panasonic only does it sometimes which is really odd. I also find the Function Menu on this one over complicated as is the instruction book which is the size of a short novel. The clock gets confused sometimes aswell and I have to reset it. It's OK otherwise I just wouldn't buy another one.
Brilliant machine Bought this as usually have Panasonic machines and once more they have come up to expectations. Really good easytouse recorder highly recommended.
Died after 13 months Bought this in Feb 2011. It has now packed up with the dreaded U81 error code after just 13 months. Cannot get anything to function and checking internet forums shows this is not uncommon. Usual great service from Amazon when I bought it and when the unit was working was very pleased with it. Easy to record programmes using the TV guide and playback was simple to use. Very disappointed with Panasonic and always considered them top quality. At least I can make use of the 250Gb SATA drive. Bye bye Panasonic hello Samsung. If you're getting one make sure you take out an extended warranty.
Good but complicated! Bought this just before Christmas to replace a Sony DVD/HDD recorder. I'm fairly good with tech. stuff but found this quite complicated to use compared to the Sony. I got very frustrated because it was very slow to switch on and then after a few weeks the listings on the programme Guide+ disappeared! I was frankly all ready to send it back thinking it was faulty but decided to check the 100 page!manual again first! Finally after searching for ages I found the answer to both problems and its working fine now. The size and complexity of the manual is quite offputting but it's important to take the time to read it carefully as the setup is not particularly user friendly.
Panasonic DMREX83EB A great product easy to use both to record and play The set up is strait forward and there are more things to do with this recorder than i shall use but they are there if you want to take advantage of the other programes.
Fast delivery and great product I received the delivery the day after placing the ordereven though the delivery estime was for the following day. The product was really easy to set up and to use and has met our expectations in every respect.
Fine but renown DVD player mechanism problems Hi there we purchased this after a previous Panasonic EX768 DVD player just started to make clunking noises that according to forums is the problem with panasonic we have had this for about 15 months. The DVD trays are also difficult to replace as Panasonic have their own spec fittings. To repair the item would cost around £100 so we may as well purchase another one. On reflection it may have been worthwhile just purchasing a DVD player and separate HD storage to record from our Panasonic set. Take a hard long look and research other makes before purchase of this. We may be able to get the unit replaced under EU law but meanwhile we needed to purchase one in replacement.

Great TV Bad experience with Amazon Warehouse Purchased Bauer 22 TV DVD Combi. Great looking TV excellent picture quality good sound. DVD operation is quiet. All in all a great TV for the price. However I purchased from Amazon Warehouse advertised as nearly new nearly list price too just repackaged. However when it arrived there was a picture flaw a line of bright pixels running down the screen. Totally unacceptable to anyone why don't the warehouse check these things when resold otherwise they just waste everyones time money and patience.On the TV itself minor gripe over the usability of the remote control but I'm sure you'd get used to it the EPG appeared to be only 24 hours probably not a big deal for a second TV the power input is 12V so it comes with a mains transformer possibly an issue if you wanted to wall mount.
Great TV! Bought this TV as a birthday present for my mum to go in her kitchen. Looks really good works lovely and the picture is great quality. Looked through loads of TVs this size and really pleased with the price and what it can do.

Good for anyone who wants a second television The picture is good though not brilliant. Easy to install and watch. Unfortunately the book that came with the machine was not always clear and it took some time to work out that you had to use the fav button on the remote to eject a DVD. The one aspect I really do not like is having to turn off the power by removing the plug from the wall as there is no on/off switch on the set.

Good but flawed When it worked it was good good quality picture sound OK good features but after a couple of weeks the remote became unreliable. Changed batteries but still not good. DVD was quite noisy too.
A top value televison After reading many other positive reviews I chose this television for our new kitchen. We have not been disappointed. It does everything I could have hoped for. The EPG facility allows you to drill down for whatever level of detail you wish. I am planning to use the PVR and if it works as in the handbook it will be brilliant. The icing on the cake when I opened the Amazon box was that this is actually an LED backlit TV. Not just LCD as implied by the online description.

Good TV but the dvd wont work!!!! This is a good tv which I got as a late christmas present the picture is great and it has lots of channels. The sound is good and it looks nice. It is a perfect size and I am perfectly happy with italmost. A very good thing about this tv is that it has a dvd player. I was going to watch a film on it so I inserted the dvd into the side and looked through the instructions to see how you get onto dvd mode and it said to press the button on the remote that said s.page on it to get to the dvd menu but when I pressed this button nothing happened.

Works fine I bought this drive because I needed to replace a broken drive in a 9 year old Dell which is still from the preSATA period. It needs a PATA instead. You can not find these in shops anymore but you can on Amazon. Thanks to the other reviews I knew its only draw back is that it comes without screws so I kept the ones from my old drive. It was very easy to put the drive in. It works fine and now I can also write DVDs on this PC which was not possible with the old original drive.
Old Computer New Part This was purchased to replace a broken one on my Uncle's desktop as you can see it is pata i.e. the 50 pin ribbon as it is an old machine not many people make them now. This slotted in connected up and worked straight away with the software he already was using for burning. Also the price was reasonable as well.
Best value PATA DVDRW drive ever What a great drive !!I think most of the previous reviews have nailed it and those are the main reasons I got this drive.But adding my two cents the seller I got this off First Point Marketing supplied the bare drive without any screws or software. But as it was a replacement I reused the old mountings.Ubuntu 10.10 Oneiric with the Brasero disc burner software is able to use it straight out of the box once the restricted media divers are installed. Managed ~34x write speed on an Imation disc so I'm impressed.I imagine like most of these burners the write laser will burn out after a couple of years but that's what you'd expect on a OEM HP/Dell so definitely still very good value.It's so quiet I had to keep looking at the LED to see if it was doing anything.
Excellent This have been a 'life Saver' after my laptop optical drive failed. I bought this and plugged into the usb port perfect. Highly Recommended.
Liteon IHAP12219 22x Internal DVDRW Black Bare PATA Drive This is a very good cheap DVD writer. It works straight out of the box. Comparatively quiet compare with my old Pioneer DVD writer. It also come with Nero 9 Essentials though I have not installed it. However for people like to use this as their DVD burning software of their choice. This is an extra bonus.

Good Value but no Lightscribe IDE optical drives are getting rare. my drives usually last for about 18 months and then expire for one reason or another. As IDE drives are getting harder to find I was glad to find Amazon selling this one. It installed first time and so far is working well on my elderly XP SP3 system. The only downside for me is that it doesn't support Lightscribe.

Very frustrating basic design flaws Bought on the promise of other reviews at a supermarket holding a special offer.Firstly it wouldn't display through HDMI to my Samsung LCD TV. Had to connect via component cable to change the HDMI display settings.The other reviews say it's slow responding. That's an understatement!Also I've found the remote only works when headon and level to the bluray unit. All of my other equipment CD player Sky box old Sony DVD unit etc work fine in that same position. The buttons are very stiff as well making this problem worse.The most annoying thing is the constant noise when the unit is switched off but left connected at the mains. About the same frequency as bat squeaks but constant. Tried through my £40 mains conditioner still made that noise.Updated to the latest firmware from Philips via USB did not resolve any of these issues.Such basic design flaws further compounded by the constant noise when switched off. The store was very understanding and gave me a refund straight away. Much happier with the Pioneer unit I purchased elsewhere for £20 more.
Phillips bdp 3200 Blu ray looks good on this player especially using the vivid colour mode. Dvd upscaling is fairly good. Make sure you buy a quality hdmi cable with this somthing like QED as the player doesnt have one in the box.Simple online code to make dvd region free using the remote. Plays Xvid and mkv files from a hard drive also Divx+hd and can play vcds and other formats.Sleek good quality player and seems quiet during use apart from when loading discs. Motion seems smooth with no stutter. Can connect using the ethernet port or wirelessly using the optional dongle.Overall a very good player although vcd playback seems to play too fast even though I have tried different resolution settings I dont know why this is.4 1/2 stars out of 5.
Bargain BR Player For the price its a great BR palyer. I can connect my HDD and run MKVs. I recommnend this player.
Over the moon I bought this bluray player from asdaso i wasn't expecting muchthen i switched it on did not work correctlywe had bought some bluray discs some worked some did not.So firmware was the cause of our problemcould not get it off the internet so i phoned philips and wow what service they bent over backwards for us sent us the new firmware on a usb stick and we were away.A very big thankyou to philips customer service was brill also was the player brill picture i am impressed thankyou Philips.
Good but very slow Firstly the most important note is that the quality of the picture is excellent. Deep rich and crisp colours come over very well. However the player is unbelievably slow. Between closing the tray with a disc in it you could be waiting over a minute and a half. Also there is a very annoying problem with trying to bring up the disc menu which also takes an age.
I tell you what the picture quality from these Philips Blu ray players with a good HDMI lead is bloody fantastic Well the title of this review says the whole thing really. The two Philips Blu ray models I own are both the BDP3000 and using Sky's own HDMI cable for one of them is absolutely bloody incredible and that TV is only 720p. The quality of the other BDP3000 is nothing short of tremendous. That's connected to only a 720p TV also. When you activate the 1080p/24fps mode in the Blu ray set up Jesus what the Hell else in this world could possibly be better? That really pushes the 720p TVs right to their limits and with no problems that I can detect at all. You really have no idea about Blu ray until you actually see it it's what people say and it is true.
Not the greatest First time I've purchased a blue ray player and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this one. My main gripes are the time it takes to start up before you can enter a disc and the fact that you have to almost have the remote control at the same height as the dvd for it to be operational. The remote control itself is pretty poor.
Good but let down by remote control Does exactly what the spec says I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the remote control which is probably the worst I've seen it's really cheap plastic button pushes don't always register sometime you have to push really hard. Fortunately I'm able to operate it with my tv remote otherwise I'd send the thing back.
Rubbish Very rubbish player freeze all the time which need turned of from the socket to recover youtube feature is a waste of time its like a toy you buy for a kid crap.the noise it makes is unbearable and the quality of the picture is not good at all i don't advise anyone to purchase these product you will regrate it spend a bit more and get a good one.
Good product with buggy software ProsThe video and audio quality on this machine are excellent with every DVD or Bluray disk tried so far.The USB connection works well and the player accepts all sorts of video encodings without issue.Setting the player to multiregion for DVD is by a simply code on the remote control.Doesn't run hot and is quiet when playing.Has coaxial SPDIF out to my older Home Cinema amp.ConsThe YouTube feature is almost totally useless. The text entry is incredibly slow taking around 12 seconds for the keypress to register by which time you have probably pressed the key twice and have to spend 10 seconds scrolling line for line down to the delete button then back up to the text entry. Phillips have also made a huge mistake in starting playing the most popular YouTube video immediately and they have no control over what this video is. In my case trying the YouTube feature for the first time it was some teenage kid being interviewed about his toilet habits complete with video of him sitting groaning on the toilet.
