Very good multiregion player for the price I just followed the procedure at[]and now it plays UK and USA DVDs just fine. I haven't yet tried Bluray discs but no reason to think that won't work well.
Perfect No frills 3D Player Crappy Remote Make it Region free with Service Hack I was searching for a low cost multiregion player as I had region A B and C disks. Did not want it with wifi or smart TV functions since I already have them in my LG Cinema 3D smart TV though I hardly use them also.I got to know that Toshiba can be made region free by applying a region free firmware which is available freely so ordered it here in amazon.co.ukThe item reached me here in India within 1 week.The blue LED illuminated bluray logo on the front looks cool although you have an option to turn it off.The remote is a bit cheap and nasty at once you ll feel you holding a hollow plastic box but that's okay since It's the functionality that matters more. Anyway I shall be using my Harmony 900.Connected it yesterday to my LG LW6500. Patched it with the region free firmware. Played region A Tangled 3D worked nicely.The DVD can be set to multiregion permanently but you ll need to change the region every time you put a BD of different region but if you ve set it to say Region A and everytime you are watching Region A BD you don't need to change.Checked different region disks and all worked perfectly.Anyway I am totally satisfied with my purchase. Anyone looking for a cheaper 3D Blu Play Player should look no further.

An update is needed TOSHIBA 3D BLURAY PLAYER.This came free when I brought the Toshiba 3D LED 40inch TV.Not too much to say works absolutely perfectly. Oh just one thing I have watched about 6 3D films with no problem but when I came to watching Captain America don't judge! on 3D it would not play. I had to download a firmware update off the Toshiba website onto a USB then slot this directly into the Bluray not the TV and follow the easy upgrade instructions on the TV and which you can print off from the website. But it's so easy to do you don't really need to. Captain A 3D then worked perfectly so this should not happen again.Even if this is no longer offered as a package I think this Bluray offers excellant value for money.
What a price!!! When I first saw this price at first glance it was not such a surprise as it could have been these days for a budget Bluray playerbut only at first glance that is.When you look more closely thee 3200 has a fair few trick up its sleeve to keep the most ardent value seeker happy. It is of course a fully functional and rather decently enabled Bluray player that give a good clear and strong picture and delivers all the lossless audio you will ever need. For that money and the TOSHIBA namethat might be enough for most cautious buyers.But it's when you look 'under the bonnet' that the really interesting stuff starts to show itself. For a start this is also a fully functional 3D equipped machine so matched up to a 3D TV it will give you all the depth of field that the new 3D systems either polarised/passive or shutter/active can provide and it does it well. But it also does it with full provision of the lossless audiounlike the PS3 which if you are using it for your 3D viewing will happily and efficiently give you the visuals but with only the regular DD5.1 and DTS via optical exactly as from regular DVDs.But the best bit the very best bit is that you can easily update this machine with totally 100% official TOSHIBA firmware to make it region free for DVDs from anywhere in the world which it will then obligingly upscale to 1080p and so give you a very much improved image from your ordinary discs.But the cream of the cropThis simple piece of 100% official firmware will also give you access to adjusting the Bluray region so you can buy your Blurays with confidence from the internet conventionsetc and this machine will be able to handle them. There is no 'multiregion' option for Bluray in the same way as there is for DVD so you physically have to set it for the region you want it to play. Obviously if most of your collection is region B or an unlocked region A that's how it will stay for most of the time anyway. It's only when you need to play a locked region A disc that you'd need to switch it. It really does sound more complicated than it actually is it literally takes about 10 seconds!An exceptional machine with great features and an unbeatable price point. It is very hard to argue with those qualities.
Good blue ray DVD Good picture quality but not a multiregion DVD player which is highly inconvenient. Came free with my TV purchase so not complaining too much.
Great bluray Player Excellent bluray player. Very hiquality picture and sound. Plays all described disc/formats and DIVX and MKV files too. Menu settings are flexible.
TOSHIBA BDX3200KB works well This is a solid quiet 3D player that compliments any smart 3D TV as you usually don't need smart functions on both.It looks better than photo is quite slim and so far plays all my recorded BD's that the Sharp DBHP25S didn't It can also be made multiregion with a fimware change.
