failed product from first receiving the freeview hd tuner it had two faults it shut down on tuner mode after 10 mins and the hd tuner picture strobes on background scenes with detail in it .it is still awaiting parts for repair.
LG HR600 The Player arrived as advised in good order my partner found it easy to set up however do have a few issues with the remote control but over all picture quality is good it records well and it does what is says on the box. Very please with the product.
LG HR600 Before purchasing this item I had read mixed reviews concerning the LG HR600. However having searched an array of products and not swayed by some of its reviewers more negative remarks I opted for this particular box. I can only say that I am thoroughly pleased with the LG player. It does seem to meet with all it claims to provide in terms of quality and quantity. Obviously only time will tell as to how long that quality will last. But all in all it gives all possible means of viewing a vast collection of content and in many different methods. I found its capability to share content from my pc through wireless connection an absolute boon. I feel that the Netcast facility could be a bit more extended to more viewing options. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Pretty good. While there aren't too many reviews on this product on Amazon or elsewhere I would tend to agree with most of the points raised by other reviewers here. The menus are fairly easy to use but set out in a mildly annoying way. Setting a programme to record is very simple though just by pressing the Guide button on the remote control and selecting what you want to record from the EPG. I have recorded quite a few programmes now and have not had any issues with it not stopping recording at the end a problem mentioned by others. All of shows I set recorded correctly even when one programme I had set to record was delayed by an overrun of a live football match beforehand the EPG automatically detected this and the show recorded from start to finish.The picture quality on the Freeview HD channels is better than SD TV but the quality does seem to fluctuate sometimes compared to
Gutted High expectaions of the Christmas present from my wife turned to dissapointment for us all.Set machine up for big music show of DVD's Christmas day only for the first Disk to FREEZE at the end of the first chapter.To date 7th March 2012 this happens with three DVD's not all music.I called LG Support on 9th Jan 2012 and was told an update would be issued in about two months time.Two months later nothing so called LG Support again and was told there is NO UPDATE and there is NOTHING they could do.Oh and to rub salt in the wound I used the EPG recording facility only to see the machine stop recording half way through the transmission.
LG HR600 3D Bluray Player with Freeview HD I have had the LG HR600 for a few months now and have found it perfect for what we required. We had bought a 37 LG TV with no HD tuner while we still had an older DVD hard disc recorder so it made sense to upgrade to a HD recorder so we could benefit from HD broadcasts. It gives you a good Bluray player with excellent picture quality and the ability to connect to and watch the BBC IPlayer should you have forgotten to record something. There is no 4OD or 5 on demand but that for us was no big deal. The ability to record programs straight from the TV Guide with the press of a button on the remote is simplicity welcomed after years of fiddling with other methods. So if you have an older TV with HD quality but no HD tuner and want a good Bluray player with a hard drive recorder I would quite happily recommend this unassumming box.
Love it!!!! Short and sweet. I think this is brilliant. Had a really cheap one before so anything would have been better but this is really good quality.

Good and bad Great BluRay player with easy to use menu. But with no connection to an external input like Sky the HDD can only be used from the internal tuners which if you live in a house like mine that has no external terrestrial ariel the HDD becomes redundant.
