Topclass BluRay player I bought this player on sale and did not expect much but I am extremely pleased with its performance now.It looks much better than on photo with glass from and brushed metal top great design job from Philips!It's my first BD player so as you can imaging the difference between this and DVD is huge. Even when it plays old DVDs it upscales them to Full HD format so they look much better. And when it comes to BluRay it's simply amazing. I could not wait to get some BDs to try it and it was well worth it. 300 were nearly better than cinema version and Sucker Punch too. Great colours HD sound everything was delivered in style.I am yet to try other features like network play or iPlayer as there are tons of them but I am very happy with it's main function and everything else will be a bonus when if I need it.Would highly recommend this player to anyone.
Blu Ray player This smart Blu Ray player arrived swiftly and well packaged.It has all the gadgetry to impress our son.Neat blue light.Not tried all the features yet but he likes it.
Nice Build Quality Aesthetically pleasing lovely Blu Ray picture and Great CD Audio For a few quid extra this machine seems to have all the bells and whistles. Is Wi Fi ready for the ability I believe to watch TV/Films on BBCiplayer or whatever and loads of other applications incl. BD Live have yet to try this and have ordered the Wi Fi Dongle. There's 1GB of internal memory built in as opposed to adding this yourself on a USB stick For BD LiveThe machine looks more classy than the 3000 or 5000 series is slightly larger more metallic in build and has a swish aluminium mirrored style front on it with a centred drive that I prefer as side ones can catch the side of my AV Unit.A Blu Beam projects downward on top of my AV Receiver when it's in operation another nice touch. It's 3D Blu Ray spec'd.
